Julie graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls in 2003, with a BS in Speech Communication. She started at Carver Lake Veterinary Center in 2000 and enjoys being part of such a compassionate and professional team.
Her favorite part of the job is helping to create a place where clients feel like friends and pets are treated like family. She loves nothing more than when chatting with a client feels like catching up with an old friend and cherishes the many relationships she's built here.
When not at the clinic Julie keeps busy playing and coaching a variety of sports, walking & biking with her family, and simply hanging out with her husband, their daughters; Danika, Kenzie, and Aubree, their dog Linc, and their cat Lita.
Pa started at our clinic as a Kennel Attendant in 2017 and shortly thereafter moved into the role of Client Care Coordinator. She has attended Inver Hills Community College and hopes to go back and finish her degree in the future!
Her favorite part of the job is simply being around pets and their owners all day. As well as being surrounded by such a dedicated and talented team.
Outside of the clinic, Pa enjoys spending time with friends and family, learning how to cross-stitch, collecting music boxes, and snuggling with her pets while watching documentaries. She has a rat terrier named Jen, and seven pet rats; Hops (formerly one of our clinic rats), Leatherhead, Godzilla, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin.
David joined our team in 2018 bringing with him a wealth of customer service experience. He is excited to put those skills to use in an environment that allowed him to be around pets and their owners every day!
Prior to coming to Carver Lake David was in the US Navy and got to travel the world, spending a significant amount of time stationed in Japan! In his spare time David enjoys exercise, music, playing video games, and photography. He also owns a sweet little old Maine Coon named Peyton who he loves dearly.
Alyssa joined our team in 2017. She has always loved animals and is currently attending Animal Behavioral College to get her Dog Training Certificate. Working at Carver Lake gives her hands on experience in many of the things she's learning through school!
Alyssa owns a Husky named Zoey, a bearded dragon named Steve, a tarantula, and two Beta fish. When she isn't working, studying, or playing with her own pets, Alyssa enjoys "binge watching" shows, playing video games, and fishing.
She loves working at Carver Lake Veterinary Center, stating it's "one of the best jobs she's ever had" and loves getting to know all the sweet pets and their owners.
